Is there an allergy medication that I don’t have to take daily?

I am seeking for non-drowsy allergy medicine. But, my symptoms usually action up spasmodic as well as we do not wish to be “on” a remedy regularly. My friends who operate allergy remedy contend which we have to take it each day for a outcome to set up up. How in effect is it if we take it each once in a whilst as well as what is a most appropriate sort to take in my case?

Personally, I only take my Claritin when I start to experience runny nose/sneezing and then take it for a while and then stop after a couple weeks when I reckon the pollen’s gone (so basically I take it daily for a few weeks at a time).

This isn’t a fantastic answer but it’s the only thing I can reckon of to contribute!

Generic Claritin (loratidine) and Zyrtec (cetirizine) are both fine choices that are nondrowsy. Zyrtec may be less likely to cause drowsiness than Claritin, but I can’t tell a difference.

It is best to consult your doctor before taking medications, not Yahoo Answers.
