We often hear “health food types” make the case that brown rice is better for you than white rice. I have

looked carefully at the Nutrition Facts on both kinds, and it seems to me that the only advantage brown rice has over white is that it has more potassium. So, why is it better for us. Please don’t give a silly answer like “Because I read it in a magazine.” It may well be true. I just want to have an honest opinion from someone who really knows.
